TV9 Telugu is an Indian satellite television news network that provides 24-hour news coverage in Telugu language.

TV9 was started in 2004 and is owned by Associated Broadcasting Company Private Limited (ABCL) which has seven television stations in different languages in India. In August 2018, Alanda Media and Entertainment bought the majority stake in ABCL.

Thanthi TV is a 24-hour Tamil news satellite television channel based in Chennai, India. It is owned by Dina Thanthi.

NDTV Hindu was launched on 16 May 2009, owned by NDTV (51%) and The Hindu Group (49%). It was started as a Chennai city-specific English news and entertainment channel, broadcast only in Chennai.

After the Dina Thanthi group took over NDTV Hindu, it rebranded the channel as Thanthi TV.Initially it was a Chennai city-specific channel but after the acquisition process was completed, it was rebranded and relaunched on 13 November 2012 as a 24-hour Tamil news channel which serves and broadcasts to Tamil Nadu, India.

One of the channel's most watched shows is the Kelvikenna Bathil (What is the answer to the question) show, where the show's host interviews various leaders in Tamil Nadu, mainly political leaders. Some of its interviewed people include Narendra Modi.

Thanti TV commissioned an extensive pre- and post-poll surveys through Krish Info Media for the 2014 Parliamentary and 2016 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu. The results predicted by the Krish Info Media-Thanti TV combination was the closest to the actual results in both cases. The findings of the 2014 polls were telecasted through a show called 40/40 - Narpadhuku Narpadhu. The findings of the 2016 polls were telecasted through the widely popular show called "Makkal Yaar Pakkam." Both shows were hosted by the former Chief News Editor Rangaraj Pandey and data explained by Krish Info Media's chief Psephologist Arun Krishnamurthy.

On September 17, 2012, the CRTC approved Tamil Vision's request to convert from a licensed Category B specialty service to an exempted Cat. B third language service.

tvi HD shows include a mix of family dramas, comedies, reality shows, shows on politics, health and movies, interviewing celebrities, news updates.

tvi HD was available in Canada via major television providers such as Rogers under Channel No 867 and Bell under Channel Nos 707 / 845. tvi HD was available throughout the world by online streaming using their website www.tamilvision.tv, tvi HD have developed their applications both in Android and ios, where streaming of their Channel is available at free of cost.

Asianet suvarna news is a Kannada news channel operated by Asianet News Network, a news media subsidiary of Jupiter Capital Private Limited.The majority shareholder of the company is Rajeev Chandrasekhar, who is a Rajya Sabha member from the Bharatiya Janata Party.Launched on 31 March 2008, the channel was the third news channel to be aired in the Kannada language.The channel has telecast fabricated news and social media hoaxes on various occasions.Personnel from Suvarna News had also provided technical assistance for setting up NaMo TV before the 2019 Indian general election.

Suvarna News was rebranded as Asianet suvarna news on 01 Dec 2020. Channel was launched as a 24x7 Kannada news channel on 31 March 2008.The channel became the third Kannada language news channel with the launch. It was launched by Asianet Communications Limited, the media enterprise of Jupiter Capital Private Limited under the brand name of Suvarna (Golden). The flagship channel of the brand, Suvarna TV (later renamed to Star Suvarna) had been launched 9 months earlier in June 2007.Suvarna News had existed as a news bulletin on Suvarna TV before the launch of its own channel in 2008.

In November 2008, Star India acquired Asianet Communications excluding its news media operations.As a result, Suvarna News was placed under the Asianet News Network which continued to be owned by Jupiter Capital.

The Sikh Channel is a United Kingdom-based, free-to-air, Sikhi-focused satellite television channel. It broadcasts across Europe on satellite television, in Canada and is also streamed live on the internet. The Sikh Channel began to broadcast on 13 April 2009 on Sky channel 840, replacing Brit Hits.The Sikh Channel primarily focuses on education and religious programming for the Sikh community.It operates from a studio in the Aston area of Birmingham.

The Sikh Channel was set up by Davinder Singh Bal in April 2009 by TV Legal Limited.TV Legal formed The Sikh Channel Community Broadcasting Company Limited to accept donations, which are used to pay broadcast and programming costs.The Sikh Channel Community Broadcasting Company Limited became a registered community interest company on 25 September 2009 and a registered charity on 2 June 2010.In December 2012, TV Legal Limited transferred the channel's television broadcast licence to the Sikh Channel Community Interest Company Limited.

On 18 April 2013, the channel launched in Canada as "ATN Sikh Channel" through an exclusive licensing agreement with the Asian Television Network.

Rajya Sabha TV (RSTV) is a cable television network channel owned and operated by Rajya Sabha that covers the proceedings of Rajya Sabha (the Upper House of the Parliament of India).Apart from telecasting live coverage of Rajya Sabha proceedings, RSTV also brings incisive analysis of parliamentary affairs.While focusing on current national and international affairs, it provides a platform for knowledge-based programmes for the discerning viewer. The channel offers special attention to legislative business undertaken by the Parliament.

Currently, the CEO of Rajya Sabha TV is Manoj Pandey.

Rajya Sabha TV has produced the 10-part TV mini-series Samvidhaan, which was directed by the noted film director Shyam Benegal.

Rajya Sabha TV has also produced a teleserial and film, Raag Desh, on the trial of Indian National Army officers during British rule. The serial/ film was directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.

Rajya Sabha TV is a must-carry channel in India, and all television service providers (Direct to Home as well as cable TV providers) must carry this channel, as mandated in the advisory issued by the Indian government in 2015 and still in force.

In recent years, Rajya Sabha TV has gained prominence among Indian news and current affairs television channels. Its YouTube channel now has over 5 million subscribers, much ahead of other channels in the same/ similar niches. Now about a million subscribers are added every six months. Some of its shows have been viewed millions of times on YouTube.
