TRT Türk is TRT 's television channel broadcasting international general content for Turks abroad. It generally broadcasts together with TRT 1 channel. The channel also broadcasts its own special programs. The channel broadcasts around the world according to the time.

The first name of the channel was TRT Avrasya, which made a test broadcast in 1992 and switched to normal broadcast a few months later. On July 1, 1992, it changed its name to TRT int-Avrasya. Later, on April 12, 1997, TRT int-Eurasia channel was split into two channels, TRT int and TRT Avrasya. On January 31, 2001, it changed its name to TRT Türk. On 21 March 2009, it left all its frequencies to TRT Avaz. After TRT Türk's frequencies were given to TRT Avaz, the channel was merged with TRT int again . After this merger, the logo appears on TRT int channel every 9 seconds TRT Türk and TRT int.has changed between It reopened on May 8, 2009. It is the first channel of TRT to broadcast in 16:9 format. TRT Eba TV Secondary School(TRT EBA Ortaokul) is Turkey's first distance education channel, which started broadcasting on March 23, 2020 with the cooperation of the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) and the Ministry of National Education.

Ministry of National Education (MEB) presented 3 separate channels for primary, secondary and high school students on 6 frequencies via Türksat 4A satellite. While two frequencies are reserved for each channel, each channel can be watched in both SD and HD.

On the channel, which started broadcasting on Monday, March 23, students will be able to follow their lessons according to the curriculum published on 'eba.gov.tr'.

While broadcasts will be made for secondary school students at TRT Eba TV Secondary School, Turkish, mathematics, social studies, science, religious culture and ethics, English and Arabic lessons will be given for imam hatip secondary school students.

Each lesson broadcast on the channel will continue for 20 minutes, followed by 10-minute activity sequences.

Classes at Eba TV Secondary School will start at 09:00 and continue until 13:30.

For students who missed the lectures or want to watch it again, there will be rebroadcasts between 13:30 and 17:30 and between 17:30 and 21:30.
