Music Channel is a Romanian music television channel, opened on May 28, 2008. On January 1, 2010 was launched a version in Hungary. Music Channel came to prominence as the first Romanian TV station to host Live streaming. The TV station is known for hosting the yearly Romanian Music Awards Unlikely to MTV Romania and Kiss TV, the station is more genre-broadcasting, dividing its airplay into the four most prominent music genres — pop, rock, urban and dance, much in the likes of UTV. Noteworthy, Music Channel is known for also airing Latin pop, adult contemporary, J-pop and K-pop among other genres that don't receive significant airplay from other music stations. Compared by many to VH1, the TV station conceived many Top-Tens and Top-100s and starting late-November they start playing Christmas music.

Its sister channel, H!t Music Channel was launched on September 1, 2011.

Al Jazeera (Arabic: الجزيرة‎, romanized: al-jazīrah, literally "The Island", though referring to the Arabian Peninsula in context) is a free-to-air international Arabic news channel based in Doha, Qatar that is operated by the media conglomerate Al Jazeera Media Network. The channel is a flagship of the media conglomerate and hence, is the only single offering to carry the name as simply "Al Jazeera" in its branding.

The channel's willingness to broadcast no holds barred views, for example on call-in shows, created controversies in the Arab States of the Persian Gulf. One of the station's office was the only channel to cover the War in Afghanistan live.

The parent holding is a "private foundation for public benefit" under Qatari law. Under this organisational structure, the parent receives funding from the government of Qatar but maintains its editorial independence. The network is sometimes perceived to have mainly Islamist perspectives, promoting the Muslim Brotherhood, and having a pro-Sunni and an anti-Shia bias in its reporting of regional issues. Al Jazeera insists it covers all sides of a debate and says it presents Israel's views and Iran's views with equal objectivity. Al Jazeera has aired videos released by Osama bin Laden.

In June 2017, the Saudi, Emirati, Bahraini, and Egyptian governments insisted the closure of the entire conglomerate as one of thirteen demands made to Government of Qatar during the Qatar diplomatic crisis. Other media networks have spoken out in support of the network. According to The Atlantic magazine, Al Jazeera presents a far more moderate, Westernized face than Islamic jihadism or rigid Sunni orthodoxy and though the network has been criticized as "an 'Islamist' stalking horse", it actually features "very little specifically religious content in its broadcasts."

RTP1 is the main television channel of Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, the Portuguese public broadcasting corporation. It is Portugal's first channel, and was launched in 1957. For a brief period it was known and marketed as Canal 1 (Channel 1); it has long been commonly called this. It is one of the most watched television networks in the country. The channel became a 24-hour service in 2002, although it now leases its graveyard slot (3:56 am to 5:59 am) to the infomercial producer and direct-response marketer, A Loja Em Casa (in turn owned by El Corte Inglés). Until that point, RTP1 closed down with the national anthem, but this practice stopped not too long before infomercials filled the overnight slots.

RTP1 has a variety of programs, composed mainly of news and talk-shows, sports, current affairs, national and international fiction, such as films and TV series. Unlike sister channel RTP2, RTP1 broadcasts commercial advertising, which, along with the licence fee, finances the channel.

FM O Dia is a Brazilian radio network based in the city of Rio de Janeiro , capital of the state of the same name . Operates at 100.5 MHz in FM and belongs to the O Dia Group .

The station has as its music grid popular hits from samba , pop , axé , backcountry university , hip hop , rap , reggae and funk from Rio .

The radio was established in 1 of May of 1994 , inaugurating the FM Day on the frequency 90.3 MHz. Your home office is located at Rua Barão de Itaipu, in the district of Andaraí , North Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro . The station had repertoire in contemporary adult style . Frequency 90.3 is the current BandNews FM Rio de Janeiro .

In 1992 the Group Day had acquired the frequency of FM PRC which was the 100.5 MHz. But only 8 of December of 1997 , the FM Day came to be transmitted on this frequency, starting to have a more popular profile .

Of 8 of December of 1997 until 15 of March of 2011 , the FM radio headquarters Day was located in the building of the newspaper O Dia in Riachuelo Street , in the city center of Rio de Janeiro .

In 8 of April of 2011 the issuer transfers its headquarters to the Barra da Tijuca , where the studios are closer to the neighborhoods of the West Zone and Zone of Rio North, where most of the station 's listeners. The station was the leader of the general audience among FMs in Rio de Janeiro and Grande Rio for 10 years according to IBOPE .

On 25 of September of 2017 , the issuer, in partnership with Calderaro Communication Network , debuts its first affiliate in Manaus on 93.1 MHz, so begins a new phase with the start of FM Network Day . In addition to Manaus, FM O Dia also has three other affiliates in Amazonas , in the cities of Maués , Presidente Figueiredo and São Gabriel da Cachoeira , all controlled by Rede Calderaro de Comunicação.

On 27 of September of 2018 , the FM Day expands its network with three affiliates, all in the state of Pará , in the capital Belém , in Itaituba and Maraba . On October 1 , also in Pará, FM O Dia debuts its fourth affiliate in the state, in Castanhal .

Telewizja Toruń (cable TV of Toruń) is a local Polish TV station that was founded in 1992. It has 120,000 viewers. The TV Toruń is also an internet and telephone provider for the city of Toruń.

The main program is News Torun (Aktualności Toruńskie), theme refers to the most important events in the city and its surroundings broadcast from Monday to Sunday at 17.45, 20.00 and 21.45. TV employs a dozen journalists, editors and cameramen, has three television studios. Director of TV Toruń is Jerzy Muchewicz.
