Andisheh TV (ATV) is a 24-hour television station based in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, founded and launched in June 2006. ATV broadcasts in Persian, via the Hotbird satellite, and Eutelsat satellite to Iran, the Middle East, and Europe. The station is also widely viewed in Afghanistan and Tajikistan where there are large Persian speaking populations.

ATV Features news, political, informational, economic and business updates, current daily affairs, weekly opinions and analysis breakdowns from worldwide subject matter experts and various special broadcasts and educational programs with a strong line-up of locally produced shows.

Radio Republik Indonesia (Radio of the Republic of Indonesia, abbreviated as RRI), legally Lembaga Penyiaran Publik Radio Republik Indonesia (Public Broadcasting Institution Radio of the Republic of Indonesia) is a public radio network of Indonesia. Founded on 11 September 1945, it is the first radio network in Indonesia. RRI headquarters are located on Medan Merdeka Barat Street in Central Jakarta.

RRI has several radio channels broadcasts all over Indonesia and abroad to serve all Indonesian citizens throughout the nation and overseas. RRI also provides information about Indonesia to people around the world. Voice of Indonesia is the division for overseas broadcasting.


Afrobeats

Afrobeats (not to be confused with Afrobeat or Afroswing), also known as Afro-pop, Afro-fusion (also styled as Afropop and Afrofusion), is an umbrella term to describe popular music from West Africa and the diaspora that initially developed in Nigeria, Ghana, and the UK in the 2000s and 2010s. Afrobeats is less of a style per se, and more of a descriptor for the fusion of sounds flowing out of Ghana and Nigeria. Genres such as hiplife, jùjú music, highlife and naija beats, among others, were amalgamated under the 'afrobeats' umbrella.

Afrobeats is primarily produced in Lagos, Accra, and London. Paul Gilroy, of The Black Atlantic, reflects on the changing London music scene as a result of shifting demographics:

"We are moving towards an African majority which is diverse both in its cultural habits and in its relationship to colonial and postcolonial governance, so the shift away from Caribbean dominance needs to be placed in that setting. Most of the grime folks are African kids, either the children of migrants or migrants themselves. It's not clear what Africa might mean to them".
