Sardegna Uno

http://lcotiv.com/tv/48935879583.html

Sardegna Uno is a local Sardinian TV. Its contents are accessible on the web in live streaming, but also by referring to channel 39 of the Digital Terrestrial. Its history began in 1987. Over the years, the project has managed to achieve very important goals. Among these it is possible to remember the fact that it became, in the now distant 1998, the first television in Sardinia to start an experimentation with digital. In this way, it was possible to guarantee all the inhabitants of Sardinia extremely accurate information on the events of their land.

Continuing with the important dates for the history of this Sardinian television channel, it is essential to remember 2006, the year in which a partnership was signed with the Italia 7 Gold group. This made it possible to include various national production programs in the schedule.

Going into the specifics of the broadcasts, it is worth mentioning titles such as “Formula 1”, a format produced by the broadcaster which, as is clear from the title of the program, is centered on the theme of engines. Among the other programs broadcast by Sardegna Uno, it is possible to mention “Sport and Benefit Italia”, a program whose contents are focused on the mix between sport and wellness, with a focus on topics such as medicine, rehabilitation, aesthetics.

The list of programs dedicated to viewers of this Sardinian television broadcaster includes several other titles. In this list, it is possible to mention "Women", a program that airs every Sunday at 21.00, focusing on issues related to the female universe. Conducted by Michela Giangrasso, the program touches on various sub-themes, from gender-based violence, to the world of work, to the organization of family life. The format foresees, for each episode, the presence of only one male guest in the studio.

The program also broadcasts ad hoc video news and many broadcasts dedicated to the tradition of the island; strong point is the live broadcast of the main religious events and Sardinian culture such as the Sartiglia of Oristano, the Sardinian Cavalcade of Sassari and the Carnival of “Sa Carrera nanti S. Lussurgiù”.

RTP

http://lcotiv.com/tv/27793339434.html

RTP Internacional is the international television service of Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, the Portuguese public broadcaster. It shows a mix of programming from RTP's domestic channels, together with special Contacto programmes aimed at Portuguese migrant communities in Europe, Africa, South America and North America, as well as Macao and East Timor.

It first started broadcasting via satellite in Europe on 10 June 1992. It soon expanded into Africa, where it reached audiences in Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as Canada, United States, Brazil and into Asia. It is also available on the Internet, via a subscription to the service JumpTV or with Octoshape.

On 7 January 1998, RTPi ceased terrestrial broadcasting to Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa, and was replaced by a new separate service, called RTP África, which was available as a terrestrial TV service in some countries, as well as being available via satellite, but RTPi continues to broadcast in Angola and Mozambique. RTPi is carried by satellite television services across Africa in various countries such as South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.

RTPi programming is also retransmitted by Teledifusão de Macau in Macao, and by Televisão Timor Leste in East Timor, together with local broadcasts. In March 2005 it began 'time-shifting' its programming, with three separate schedules for the Americas, Europe, and Asia, so that viewers in different time zones could watch programmes at more convenient times.

In 2017, the TV and radio service – RTP Internacional and RDP, respectively – of RTP, as well as the Portuguese news agency Lusa, were suspended from operating in Guinea-Bissau. The measure was announced by Bissau-Guinean minister for the media, Vítor Pereira. He justified the decision with end of the contracts with RTP and Lusa. The Portuguese government considered the decision to be "unacceptable" and an "attack on freedom of expression, while Reporters Without Borders condemned that same decision. Lusa was eventually allowed to operate in the country, but RTP Internacional and RDP were not.

RMK TV Sciacca

http://lcotiv.com/tv/45262738740.html

Tele Radio Monte Kronio was born in February 1980. Sciacca's first television broadcaster occupied a leadership position in the panorama of television broadcasters in the area. The first years of activity were characterized by a schedule consisting of films, TV series, cartoons and local productions of information, entertainment and prize games including "La Pescaccia", "Sbank", "Pubblicitanto", "Frizzante", and the “Summer Games 83”, a sort of games without borders broadcast live from the Hotel Torre Macauda. The strong point of the 80s was sport. A dynamic and competent sports editorial staff that, in addition to football, volleyball and basketball commentaries, produced specific sports broadcasts such as “Vigilia sport”, “After sport”, “A botta hot”.

The “Sciacca-Monte Kronio” time trial was broadcast live for several years, with the use of various cameras along the circuit. On January 18, 1982 the news program called “Telesera” kicks off with two daily editions at 19.30 and 22.30. Subsequently it becomes RMK-TV NEWS and is enriched with two afternoon editions (2.00 pm and 5.00 pm) and a night edition (12.00 pm). From October 2004 a morning edition will also be launched with a format that rotates every 30 minutes from 7.00 to 9.00. It should be noted that the newsroom is made up mainly of women, certainly a unique case in local Italian TV.
The highest audience ratings are recorded during the live broadcast of the Sciacca Carnival. A real television marathon that starts at 16.00 and ends around 4 in the morning for six consecutive days. Another strong point of the carnival was the program “Arriva la festa” which went on for 11 editions (from 1985 to 1995). A talk-show with previews, interviews and performances of the Saccense carnival. An entertainment program entitled "Characters in search of an author", particularly appreciated for the originality of the formula, was brought to the national limelight by national broadcasts such as "Blob" and "Telesogni" on RAITRE.
Another successful program on the air for about 10 years is “On the way with Padre Pio” conducted by Toti Calafiore. Tele Radio Monte Kronio follows the activities of various municipalities with particular attention, broadcasting live the municipal councils of Sciacca, Ribera, Menfi and Castelvetrano. In the 90s RMK TV was affiliated to the Italia 9 network circuit, subsequently to Sat 2000 (Christian-inspired TV) and Magic TV (Italian and international music videos).

The new broadcaster establishes its headquarters in the heart of the city of the strait. At the dawn of the beginning of the 21st century, this local Calabrian TV begins its journey by equipping itself with primary quality equipment.

The project in question was born from the need, for some pressing ones, to have a new television voice in the province of Reggio Calabria, a land characterized by numerous geographical and architectural beauties but also by extremely sad pages from a social and political point of view.

As for the editorial line, an undoubtedly important feature of this channel concerns the fact that it is a free and non-aligned media reality.

Attentive, as required by the Constitution, to the events and interests of all religious confessions, Reggio TV dedicates a lot of space to culture, disseminating contents conceived and created with the collaboration of the Popular Opera House and other renowned associations in the sector. The program schedule is completed by many thematic sections dedicated to history and literature, including religious content, including events.

Entering the heart of the broadcasts, we remember the presence of the program" Medicina in Diretta", an event that is broadcast on a weekly basis and which, as the name clearly indicates, is focused on the world of health.

The other noteworthy programs are “Chisti Simu”, a program that accompanies the viewer to discover the beauty of Calabria in the company of the duo Aruspici and Polimeni. Another program to remember is “Civitas”, a space dedicated to the interests of consumers, with attention also to the theme of public competitions.
